See No Hear No Speak No Evil: A Play by Group Chronic Insanity
16th — 19th November 2022
Opening Night: Tuesday 15th November, 19:30 — 21:00
Surface Gallery is delighted to present See No Hear No Speak No Evil from the immersive theatre group, Chronic Insanity.
A virtual reality drug deal gone wrong, the peaceful sounds of a music festival decimated by war, a multiversal journey through various call centres.
These are just three of the interactive and immersive digital theatre artworks that Chronic Insanity has made over the past three years. Previously performed and then moved on from as the company continued onto another production in their 12 shows in 12 months projects. But what if they were all restaged, together, in one big celebration of all things digital theatre?
See No Hear No Speak No Evil is an exhibition of Visual, Audio, and Speech Recognition based interactive artworks and performances from award-winning theatre company Chronic Insanity, created between 2020-2022.
Curated by Chronic Insanity's Artistic Director, Joe Strickland, this exhibition is the first time all of Chronic Insanity's most innovative and imaginative work has been available in one place, for five nights only this November!
