Make-A-Meme with Masah Azar 
Saturday 19th October, 11am to 2pm

A neologism coined by Richard Dawkins, memes have become a digital staple—a visual shorthand used to communicate a wide range of human emotions and experiences through the click of a button. As the Internet grows more entangled with every aspect of our social and personal lives, memes have also become a vessel for protest and a means of vocalising anger, disillusionment, and calls for change. With the aid of recognisable visual references from the past decade, participants will be encouraged make their own memes to air out their frustrations and grievances with a sense of humour.  

Masah will provide print-outs and different images to be cut out, drawn, or used as templates. All other materials, paper, markers, and glue stick will also be provided.
